Coin Scanner: Coin Value ID ("the app") identifies coins from photos. This policy explains what happens to your data.
When you tap Identify, the coin photos you took or chose are sent over an encrypted connection to our server, which passes them to an AI model provider (through Replicate) to identify the coin. The photos are used only to answer that request. We do not keep them, and we do not use them to train models.
Identified coins, their photos and values are saved only on your device. Deleting a coin or the app removes them.
The app asks for camera access only so you can photograph a coin. When you choose a photo instead, you pick it in Apple's photo picker; the app does not read the rest of your library.
To give every user 3 free scans, our server stores an anonymous app user ID with the number of scans used. Purchases are handled by Apple, and we use RevenueCat to check whether you have a subscription. RevenueCat receives the same anonymous ID and your purchase history from Apple. The app has no advertising, no analytics SDKs, and does not track you across apps or websites.
The app is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect their personal information.
